“Howlite is one of six new complex opaque canes that CiM released in spring 2021. Four of them-Howlite, Alchemy, Alakazam and Dinosaur Bone- have a Buttermilk matrix and are absolutely perfect for depicting marble. Howlite has Midnight cane inclusions just below the surface. Though it does resemble its namesake, it reminds me of Carrara marble. It is easy to use and readily accepts etching cream. ”
